Hi there! My name is Rachel, I’m a Registered Dietitian and fitness addict. I love everything and anything about nutrition, fitness, and health.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, graduated from D’Youville College with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Dietetics. Along with being a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist in the State of New York, I also hold Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management with the commission on Dietetic Registration.
I was fortunate enough to gain clinical experience in an acute care setting while living in Florida while working at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport Florida. Now back in Buffalo and loving every minute of it! Currently a clinical dietitian at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Now that I’ve gotten my qualifications out of the way, I can talk more about what I do for fun! I love fitness! Running, weightlifting, rowing, swimming and cycling. In 2009 I decided to train for my first marathon, definitely a life changer for me! Since then I have completed 4 full marathons, 17 half marathons, 3 Olympic triathlons, 2 half Ironman and 1 full Ironman. As a runner and triathlete I recognize the importance and the link between a healthy diet and an active lifestyle. I also enjoy; cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
In the future, I’m looking to expand my professional credentials to encompass becoming a certified personal trainer with ACSM. Hope you enjoy!
